Wife Kyle, children Jennifer 20, John 18.
24 year manager for Eastman Kodak. I am a Large Format Fine Art Photographer. My photographs have been displayed in various galleries all around the country. I have been a Lobo fan since going to college at the University of Missouri, 1971, Me and You And a Dog Named Boo. I spent five years in Nashville as an unknown singer songwriter. I had a a few things recorded by other unknown artists and had one record out myself. I gave it up, so I could eat. Lobo's lyrics, his voice and his overall production sound has touched home with me from the start. His writing evokes feelings that have always seemed close to my own feelings. I love that. He's a real master of song. there are none better.

Dick Schatz:
I was born in 1958, and have been a big Lobo fan since the second album (Of A Simple Man).  Since then, I've tried to get my hand on everything I could get my hands on (including most of the PonyCanyon releases).  A few years ago, I enjoyed the privilege of seeing Lobo live in concert in Boston, and meeting him briefly after the show. I live in a suburb south of Boston with my wife Linda, my 14-year old daughter Michelle, and our bunny and kitty.  I have a degree in Latin from Harvard University, and work for Andersen Consulting (although I don't do any traveling for them).
I want to thank Sam for his efforts in putting this web site together.  He's done some amazing things.  Maybe he can persuade Lobo to do an online concert for us or something.

"Hi, I'm Jose Maria Barua, a 33-year old electrical engineer living and working in Asuncion, Paraguay (South America). Ever since I first heard Lobo's debut LP more than 20 years ago, I began focusing on his musical style and lyrics, and started researching on this artist but I soon found he was as reclusive as I am: it was not until I discovered Sam's web page that I learned many details of his life. Lobo was always my favorite: I get magnetized by his particularly sensitive way of expressing love, joy, sadness, loneliness,
etc., thru his music.  To listen to his classics is a sure way to get a "soul synchronization" with his emotions and as a result I can feel I am talking thru him. Thanks God for creating such wonderful artists like Lobo!"
Ok, that's all for now, Sam. I'll never miss your web page.
Good luck and thanks.

Hello, my name is Rick Mannor.  My wife Sheila and I live in Cadillac Michigan.  I'm 28 years old and employed as a computer programmer.  I grew up listening to my older brothers playing Lobo's "Of a Simple Man."  My childhood infatuation with this album matured into an adult appreciation.  I now have a large music collection, but "Simple Man"
remains my favorite.  No other compilation of songs can stir my emotions so deeply.  I was overjoyed when Sam told me it was being reissued on CD.  Thank you Sam for the great web page, and thank you Lobo for the music.

My name is Bobby J. Poe, I'm 42 years old, married almost 25 years to my childhood sweetheart, Ladonna. We have two daughters, Brittany(8) and Mandy(18) who is attending The University of Alabama (Roll, Tide, Roll!)
We live near Tuscaloosa, Alabama and I work at Uniroyal-Goodrich tire plant. I also have a financial services company, 3-D Financial Services (Your decisions will determine your destiny). I enjoy personal finance and helping people plan for their future. My eternal thanks to Sam for sharing his knowledge of Lobo through his web site. It has revealed so much more of the great music of Lobo that I wasn't aware of. My hope is to see Lobo in concert in 1999, as we will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and I could think of nothing we would enjoy more. B.J.
