I am Ivan D'Souza, 35 yr old, an Indian from Bombay,

working in Qatar as a sub-editor.
I chanced upon Lobo when I heard one of his songs at my friend's
place and got hooked to his sensitive rendering of our deepest
feelings in lyrics and a voice of Gold. I immediately asked him to
make me a copy of his songs as they are not available here. Since
then I regularly listen to his songs and they invariably connect
me to the core of my soul, make me talk to myself, adress my
heartaches (I have had more than my share of it), my joys, my love
and failed loves. He is the greatest talent I have come across,
and even though others are much more awarded and rewarded, he
remains my ideal and idol for ever.

Hello, my name is Ernie Clark and like most of you
I've been a fan of
Lobo since first hearing "Me And You And A Dog Named Boo" in 1971. I
followed his career throughout the 70's but lost track of him after
that. I was thrilled to discover through Sam's great website that he
never stopped making incredible music. Thank you for all of the amazing
songs over the years Lobo, especially Whispers In The Wind
and Just The Sight Of You. It doesn't get any better than this! I would
also like to hear from other Lobo fans.

I am 45 years old. Grew up as a teenager in the 70's.
I was a hopeless romantic with the girls, and alot of Lobo's songs back
then really hit home and echoed my love life in the things he sung about.
I always wondered what happened to that gentle, love-story telling Romeo,
and now finding this website has really clued me in. Now I am on a mad
rush to find all the CD's I missed out on Lobo, through Ebay and other
outlets. I always thought he only had those first 4 albums and then just
disappeared. Now it's like I will be hearing new songs from him, well it's
new to me! Lobo inspired me to write poetry and love stories, and someday
if I have a best-selling Novel or Big Screen Movie screenplay, I really
owe this man alot for his songs and words taught me that it was okay for a
man to be gentle and romantic.

Am Currently 25 years old...first heard "i'd Love u
to want me" way back in 1986, and flipped for the song.... i used to be a
band enthusiast...and have been associated with local bands since 1995,
when i turned 18. Also a Leading Dj here in MAngalore City, India, No
party of Mine is complete without a Lobo Song. HAve managed to get Only
One Album till now....Been searchin for asian Moon, and the song
"faithful", which is still the best track for the first dance of a newly
married couple.! By the way, i was introduced to Lobo, By a friend who
