The Lobo Fan Gallery

continued.......

My name is Rose and I live in Beavercreek, Ohio which is a few miles
east of Dayton. My best friend and I loved listening to Lobo growing up in the 70's. His songs were always so sensual, romantic, soulful and well, just plain sexy! She and I were talking about "the good ol' days" the other evening and I just thought I would do an Internet search on Lobo. I am so glad I ran across this link! We might be a little bit older now (okay, a lot older!) but the sounds of Lobo can still take us back to those days and make us relive them all over again, if you know what I mean!
Thanks for sharing your warm and wonderful talent with the world!

Hello all Lobo fans,
My name is Masud and I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I'm 42 years old and works as a Commercial Manager, GBPL in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I'm married and have 1 boy. I was a musician, played bass for a famous local band. Now a full time service person. I am a tech-geek and a Loboholic. I love listening to classic music as well as alternative to pop. Lobo is my pop favorite since my teen days. I have collected nearly Lobo s entire album except very rare ones. I hope LOBO will continue to create music for his audience around the globe more. My gratitude to Sam N. Vetovich & BS Lee for their kind co-operation, you guys are GREAT. It would be convenient for fan like me if you can put some audio clips in this site. My name is Paul Hammond and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I first heard Lobo around 1972 when his "I'd Love You To Want Me" was top of the charts here for 12 weeks. He has a song for every situation I've been in, and I've got every cassette/CD/LP he's ever put out. The CDs are getting a little old now, but there's no way I'll ever throw them out. He's simply the best singer/song writer I've ever heard. So nice to see he is still around and singing.

I have been a fan of Lobo and his songs ever since I first heard of him and his songs 40 years ago.
When he came over to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia about more than 10 years ago, my family and I have the rare and greatest privilege of seeing him performed here live for the first time. There is a great following of fans of Lobo here in Kota Kinabalu and we hope he and Bill Aerts will drop by again this part of East Malaysia. We have just returned from Kuala Lumpur after seeing Lobo performed at The Arena of Stars in Genting on 2nd September 2006. He is still as good as before if not better! Thanks also for this great site for us Lobo fans.

My name is Sunder. I discovered lobo when I was 21 in Nepal. His songs were touching and powerful and I listened to it every night. I then began to download many of his songs via internet (sorry I know its illegal but couldn't help it).
Lobo is popular in Asia therefore I see many fans here in gallery from Asia and some also from Nepal. Although I grew up listening to modern music (Rap, hip hop etc) but Lobo still touches my heart and is so easy to listen to late at night...
Hope to hear more from Lobo, keep up the great work Lobo, your music is beautiful and lyrics are touching.

Hi! I just found Lobo's site and boy! am I excited!
I have been a fan of Lobo for well over 30 years. His voice is just so smooth and relaxing to listen to, especially on "Don't Tell Me Goodnight," "I'd Love You to Want Me," and others. I could listen to him all night long.
I'm a singer, songwriter and musician. Currently, though, I'm making my living preaching at a small church in a really small (375) town in Kansas. I love to preach, but I love doing music, too. I graduated high school back in 1976. Got an AA in Music at a junior college in Kansas, a BA in Ministry from a school in OKC, and an MA in Philosophy of Religion from Denver Seminary. And I'd like to finish my music degree at some point.
Went out to Branson, MO, and spent 6 years there (1999-2005)trying to get into the music business, but didn't have much luck. I met Jim Stafford there, and he's a super nice guy - down to earth. Knowing he is a friend of Lobo, I'd say Kent is just as laid back and down to earth as Jim is.
One of my dreams is to someday meet Lobo - maybe even jam with him! Another is to have my own 70's show somewhere (doesn't have to be Branson!), and invite Lobo to do a guest appearance. Wouldn't that just tickle me pink!
Love the music - it will last forever.
